Treatment Focus
I help men stop their unwanted sexual behaviors (aka sex addiction)--from pornography viewing to anonymous hook-ups--any and all compulsive sexual behaviors. This treatment occurs in a non-shaming, empathic, safe therapy environment.
My Experience
I have been helping men in the greater Sacramento area overcome their unwanted sexual behaviors for almost 20 years. I am a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT). This certification is granted by the International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals (IITAP), which was founded by Dr. Patrick Carnes. This certification is earned after completing rigorous training and supervision, and maintaining this certification requires ongoing training and continuing education.
